Grace Walk Guest House offers tastefully decorated room-only or self-catering accommodation at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains in the historic town of Swellendam.

The main house of Grace Walk was built in 1983 in the most beautiful and quiet area of ​​Swellendam. In the following years, Grace Walk was expanded and extended by two buildings.

Spend the day relaxing by the pool, watching our colourful, lively hummingbirds and enjoying the stunning view of the mountains or explore the area’s great attractions while staying with us.

Accommodation comprises various comfortably decorated deluxe rooms. Our ground floor rooms are wheelchair accessible.

Each room contains a sitting area with a TV with streaming apps, tea/coffee facilities, free Wi-Fi access, and a portable or ceiling fan and wall-mounted heater.

All our rooms features en-suite bathrooms and some rooms offer a well-equipped kitchenette for self-catering, with access to a patio.

Guests have access to a communal kitchen.

Location

The Grace Walk is located at the foot of the majestic Langeberg Mountains, halfway between Cape Town and George.

As the 3rd oldest town South Africa, Swellendam offers a large number of attractions and has won multiple awards. Swellendam is considered one of the cleanest and safest cities in South Africa.

It only takes about 45 minutes to get to Witsand. Cape Agulhas can be reached in just over an hour and Hermanus is no more than 1.5 hours.
Endless beaches, lonely dunes, whale watching, watching rays, the southernmost point of Africa, shipwrecks or lively waterfront promenades. All of this can be experienced from Swellendam on short trips or day tours.

Nature

A walk through breathtaking, pristine nature that Marloth Nature Reserve offers. In Marloth there are 7 hiking trails and 3 bike trails. It also offers the Marloth 5 day hiking trail – booking for this one is essential.

There are so many tours on offer within a radius of 2 – 20 km that two weeks’ vacation is actually not enough to hike or cycle everything.

The Drostdy Museum , the NG Kerk or the Fairy Sanctuary are just a small part of what Swellendam offers you.

For sports and outdoor enthusiasts, Swellendam offers excellent opportunities for hiking, running & trail running, horse riding, mountain biking, golf etc.

With the Marloth Nature Reserve, the Bontebok National Park and the De Hoop Nature Reserve, three world class destinations are within reach.

The mountains around Swellendam offer a wide range of hiking trails. The unspoilt nature and the views are breathtaking, the Acacia Trail (1.6 km), the Aloe Hill Trail (3.3 km), the Bushbuck Trail (5.4 km) and the Blue Crane Trail (3.2 km) are in the Bontebok National Park. Bontebok National Park also offers 7 mountain bike trails.
